Why Visual Storytelling? Because stories come alive when we see them. Film has the power to transport, transform, and ignite emotions in ways words alone sometimes cannot. It blends imagery, sound, and movement to create immersive experiences that deepen understanding and connection. Join us to explore how filmmakers craft compelling narratives, why visuals can amplify storytelling’s impact, and how cinema bridges cultures, generations, and ideas. Step into the world where stories breathe—through film.
Join our eclectic group of creatives on Saturday 8th March from 5:15pm to talk all things visual. Joining us is local, Tully O’Regan, a passionate story teller! Vanessa Lam (Ness Studios) aims to shift current paradigm in her films and creative works, exploring taboo issues, and shedding light on topics not discussed in mainstream media. She is a creative and fun powerhouse with loads to share! And Merri May Gill who understands the corporate end of filmmaking, has engaged in government video production, photography and makes her own daring, playful and fabulous short films.
