Welcoming back Suzanne Leal from the 2024 Scone Literary Festival due to such positive feedback, Leal will help foster the next step in your writing journey and unlock your potential in a welcoming, inspiring space. Suzanne is an accomplished author of novels including The Watchful Wife, The Deceptions, The Teacher’s Secret, and Border Street, as well as the children’s novel Running With Ivan. A sought-after speaker at literary and community events, she has served as chair of the Prime Minister's Literary Awards fiction and poetry panel and as senior judge for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. Inspired by Holocaust survivor stories and schoolyard dynamics, her works explore resilience and human connections.
