Jo Riccioni

Jo Riccioni is an award-winning writer of novels and short stories. Her latest adult fantasy duology, The Branded Season, is published internationally. Jo’s short stories have appeared in Best Australian Stories, The Age, and won competitions worldwide, as well as being optioned for short film. Her debut historical novel, The Italians, won the International Rubery Award for Fiction in the UK. Jo has appeared on panels at Supanova, Conflux, Scone and the Northern Beaches Readers Festival, where she has been both a guest and a panel moderator. Jo has had the opportunity to conduct in-conversations with dozens of writers, including Tom Keneally, Favel Parrett, Hannah Richell, Sam Hawke, Stacey McKewan, Amie Kaufman, Freya Marske, Belinda Alexander, Sarah Bailey and James Bradley.

 

In 2025, Jo will be leading our Primary Writers Workshops and moderating 'Don't Look Away'
