Catherine Armitage is an award-winning Sydney-based journalist, editor, writer and former foreign correspondent who has published in mainstream media including the Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and Nature, the science journal, over four decades. She recently graduated with an MA in Creative Writing from UTS and now writes fiction full-time. Her story "The True Light of Day is Constant" won the national 2022 AAWP/ASSF Emerging Writers Short Story Prize."
