Former journalist and award-winning communication professional, Janie is our immediate, past president leading SLF through its major growth including COVID-impacted events. Janie is an accomplished writer, deep strategic thinker, sought-after public speaker and consultant in high-stakes communication. Janie is passionate about sharing knowledge and has taught at UTS, UNSW, USYD, Charles Sturt University and globally, possessing a Masters in Communication Management
Born and bred in North West NSW, she lives in and works from her base in Murrurundi, which she describes as her ‘little piece of paradise’ and loves nothing better than deep intellectual discussion!
