Hailing from Scone, Hamish Guiana is a young musician who is looking to break out in the regional music scene. Having featured in this season’s Top 50 of Australian Idol he has been pursuing a future in music playing at pubs and clubs around the local area. Experimenting with his sound, he combines the Folk and Americana genres while also dabbling with acoustic covers of popular ballads. Hamish was recognised at this years Australia Day awards being named Upper Hunter Young Citizen of the year, for his work with youth leadership mainly associated with Scone Grammar School and the Upper Hunter Youth Council. 2023 marks a major year for him as he begins to focus on his future in the industry, playing more regularly and with his debut single in the works, in September he will be beginning his further education at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney.
