Mandy grew up on beautiful land between Merriwa and Scone, Geawegal land before Brittish settlement. She is honoured to be here and Scone was always where she came as a child to go to the “big" shops!

Mandy is currently performing the tour of The Wharf Revue: Looking For Albanese (and they found him! He saw the show in Sydney in December, huge excitement for the audience.)

Receiving a Bachelor of Music from UNE Armidale, she then trained at WAAPA, Perth. Mandy has been living and working in Sydney and New York, as an actor, producer, singer and writer. Recent credits include many years of the Wharf Revue for Sydney Theatre Company, where she learnt to portray Julia Gillard. She has also toured Australia with Bell Shakespeare and appeared in TV shows such as Drop Dead WeirdA Zoom With A ViewLaw & Order SVUMaximum ChoppageWednesday Night Fever, Q&A, and Rake. Co-writing and co-creator credits include cabarets: Music & Mandy & ScottBite My Chilli, ABC's At Home With JuliaShort Message Service for Q Theatre and various special events.

 

Mandy will be joining the 2023 Scone Literary Festival, in Conversations with Creatives, discussing life, career and everything in between with Jonathan Biggins.
